I have started to try to really get my hands around all our content and concentrate on the post-production process. This includes me helping to design all of our box covers, watching every second of every scene, watching all our scenes while they are being digitized, and taking notes so that I can decide which scenes best go together for our DVD releases. We try and make most of our titles around three hours long, to give you, the consumers, the best possible value.

 I give these notes to our editors, so they have an idea of my vision for all our releases. After that, I get a check disc, which I QC (“quality control”) to make sure I am happy with our final product. At this stage, I write treatments or descriptions of all of our material for our websites.

 I also write all of the press releases and marketing materials, write all the blogs, and do our board posts on both fan and webmaster sites. This process alone takes up as much as14 hours of a day. So when you couple in the fact I run the company, oversee all the day-to-day business operations, do the accounting, come up with the ideas for all our shoots, and run production, it is no wonder I am a frazzled mess.

On Monday Night I really burned the midnight oil as one of graphic artists and I designed box covers until 3 am. I feel these are some of the best-looking covers we have ever designed. “Hand Job Winner 7” has Kagney Linn Karter and Mason Moore on the box cover, “Slumber Party 1’ has McKenzee Miles, Veronica Avluv and Krissy Lynn on the front, and “Snort That Cum 6” features Amy Brooke.

On Tuesday I slept in for a bit, did some emails and then went across the street to watch Brazil in the World Cup during lunch. Brazil looked great and soundly beat North Korea much worse than the 2 to 1 score would indicate. I came back to the office and started to pick out footage for our August releases. Again I do my best to try and match up scenes that I feel have a similar flow or feel to them for movies. Then I did some paperwork and watched the first part of our upcoming double-disc release, “Fluffers 2” with Tanner Mayes, Allie Foster and Tara Lynn Foxxx.

On Wednesday, I watched the next four-and-a-half hours of our “Fluffers 2” movie. There are some great parts when Isis Monroe and Topanga Fox get together – it is a lesbian love-fest. Another somewhat somber week, as a a result of the passing of Ami Jordan. Two weeks ago it was Tom Dong, and now her. The memory of these two fine people will last forever. We wish their families and friends the best. We hope that everyone has a great summer as it starts today.
